The board has a place for range limiting resistors on the ends of the pot. In one test that I did using a supposedly very good pot, I found that the pot did not have a balanced tempco between the wiper and the ends. I spent a week finding that out. ---------------- > Basically that gives me a voltage divider where the top and bottom resistors have the same TC so the offsets pretty much cancel.
