Symmetricom X72 questions

I am in the process of adding X72 support to Lady Heather.  The X72 documentation (and the protocol used) is rather horrendous.  The available docs are rather old and crusty.  Does anybody have anything newer than the stuff on Symmetricoms web site... particularly for the latest firmware that supports disciplining via the 1PPS input.  I did find a manual for a device that uses a newer X72 that provides some clues.

Also, does anybody have any info on what the values returned by the "w" health command are.  The "w" command returns a list of around 27 values (in the form of "id_string: hex_val"  where id_string is a variable name and hex_val is the value in ASCII hex...  even floating point numbers are reported in hex (idiots! ... the firmware has a routine for properly printing floating point values).  Some of the variable names are easy to figure out, but others are rather cryptic.
