The meter was more than 2 years in storage, what should I do with it? I have not even autocal I just turned on and passed the selftests. I was told the first thing is let it on for 2 months then send to calibration. I will use it sporadically to do verifications only. My serial number is: MY45044988.
Any other thing I should do to it?
Sell? :) I'd suggest running SN18 service note test procedure for few
weeks, to figure out if ADC still okay, or you need $1.4K replacement
board...

You should make a backup of the CALRAM.
I have some python code which does this:
https://github.com/bsdphk/pylt/blob/master/hp3458a.py
And somebody else has written a windows program that does it,
google or eevblog will find it for you.
Once you have made the backup, look at the date-code of the NVRAM
chip (the small one) and decide if you want to replace it before
or after the internal battery dies.

Assume all used 3458A have been repaired or raided including ref boards.
One thing to check inside the meter are date codes on all the boards.

It must have been bought second-hand if bought a few years back. Agilent
was split off from HP in 1999. So whilst 1999 is not the latest year a
meter could be badged HP, and still sold by Agilent, it would probably be
2001 - not all labels were changed overnight. I believe there was a period
of a couple of years, where something could be badged HP, but still sold by
Agilent. So that puts it at least 18 years old.
There is a rule,
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/agilent-hp-serial-number-confusion/
which I don't know if it's 100% reliable, that the year of the last design
change is 1960 + the first two digits of the serial number (MY45044988). If
that was so, the last design change was 1960 + 45 = 2005. But if the design
was changed in 2005, that would have been 6 years after HP was split off
into Agilent, so it would be badged Agilent, not HP.
I suspect that the meter is made from at least two meters, which seems to
be quite common on 3458As.

The 3458A is still supported by Keysight. You can get a Keysight
Calibration for $777.
If it passes Calibration, then you are eligible to purchase a Keysight
Repair Agreement for $216 per year. You can (or at least you could) buy up
to a 5 year agreement with a 5% (IIRC) discount. As opposed to a 'per
incident' repair of $3099. Or at least as listed at Keysight US Website.
I've done this with my 3458A's and will be investigating them extensively if
I ever retire.
Good luck.
Joe

Oh, my error. I thought the photograph you emailed me said HP. A bad memory
on my part.
it would appear that the latest engineering change to yours was 2005, so 14
years old. I have no idea if there are engineering changes since then.
