Lady Heather has a rather sophisticated calendar system built in.  It supports displaying dates and times in numerous calendar systems.  Plus it has a "greetings" calendar (that is user-definable) in the file heather.cal  It has reminders for numerous holidays,  celestial/seasonal events,  and important dates.  You get the same voting reminder no matter who is in office...  but you can change it to suit your political bent.  Heather herself is an equal-opportunity,  rather irreverent,  fun-poker...
