My favorite DMM has gone far beyond my 1990 model... The HFC, for
example. Questions about the upgrades....
- Is the HFC option just a high quality reference, or are there other
differences in the machine to go along with the reference?
- Is there a Hi voltage AC option? I use probes now, which introduce
errors.
- How much SMT is included in the newest machines? I've seen it on A/D
daughter boards, so far. Since production has moved offshore to Asia
where lots of SMT is made, how much is now incorporated?
